SCOPE We are hiring a new talent as Senior Global SourcingBuyer for Flexible Plastic Categories, responsible for a spend of> 50 million mainly in Europe, North America and Brazil. Partof the Global Procurement team, this is a challenging, highlydynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategicprojects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation andcash performance of your categories. You will also be part of theLactalis sustainable roadmap with highly key topics on flexibleplastic packaging. Your MISSIONS & CHALLENGES : As a SeniorGlobal Sourcing Buyer Flexible Plastic Packaging, you will: -Define with all relevant Stakeholders (R&D, Industrial,Quality, Marketing...) the strategy of the category, taking intoconsideration the internal and external partners (Lactaliscountries, Market environment, Suppliers...) - Design the roadmapfor execution - Drive the strategy with your local counterparts(local buyers and R&D) and monitor its progress - Define, driveand optimize our global suppliers portfolio as well as monitoringtheir performance - Participate in the budget (Commoditiesassumptions and saving plans) - Maintain an active innovation watch- Be part of the Lactalis sustainable roadmap - Lead the Flexiblepackaging action plan in the new acquisitions in finding quicksynergies to help the Lactalis Group growth - Develop Marketknowledge and Expertise, Deploy best practises within the group byactive benchmark This position requires frequent travels abroad (10to 30% of the time). WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ? - Minimum of 5years of relevant experience in procurement, direct materialssourcing, and/or packaging engineering - Good understanding ofpackaging or materials such as plastics, paper, aluminium, abilityto understand technical topics - Good communicator, team spirit,entrepreneurial, results driven with Excellent interpersonal skills- Category strategical vision - Strong negotiation and projectmanagement skills - Able to set priorities, to take some distance,and be pragmatic - Languages: Fluent in English.
