Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Biotechnologist Operator who can independently oversee bioprocess operations with minimal supervision.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Supporting operational and inspection readiness in Downstream processing.
- Executing Process Validation and Cleaning validation protocols.
- Completing daily manufacturing activities, including equipment cleaning (CIP, COP, SIP).
- Reporting and logging issues related to manufacturing activities.
- Updating progress in shift handover files.
- Escalating issues to Shift or Team lead.
- Managing daily materials for downstream processing.
- Ensuring GMP compliance and following SOPs.
- Troubleshooting cleaning and process recipes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
- Raising deviations related to downstream processing.
- Working independently with a strong GMP mindset.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Food, or Chemistry preferred, with consideration for equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or biotech operations.
- Experience working in a GMP environment with good understanding of GMP and GDP.
- Languages: English or German.
- Willingness to learn and a hands-on mentality.
- Ability to work on a 3-shift rotation, including weekends, public holidays, and nights.
- On-call duties as per planning.
