NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
Location: Bulgaria.
Duration: The intended start date is July 2025 (the Start Date ) and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the Period of Implementation ).
Key Expert: Senior Renewable Energy Energy Storage Expert (Cat. II)
Qualifications and skills:
- At least a Bachelors degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field ( minimum requirement ).
- Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English ( minimum requirement ).
- Proficiency in solar modelling and energy simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, HOMER, or similar) will be considered an asset .
General professional experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in renewable energy project development, energy storage systems, and feasibility studies ( minimum requirement ).
Specific professional experience:
- Experience in technical and economic assessments of large-scale renewable energy projects as demonstrated by 3 projects ( minimum requirement ).
- Experience in the design, feasibility assessment, and development of solar PV and energy storage projects as demonstrated in at least 3 projects in the experts CV ( minimum requirement ).
- Experience conducting grid impact assessments and integration studies for renewable energy projects will be considered an asset .
- Strong understanding of EU renewable energy regulations, permitting, and funding mechanisms will be considered an asset .
- Experience working on coal transition regions within EU countries will be considered an asset .
