Currently, in the Robotics Department, we are looking for a System Engineer at our Technology Center in Cornell de Llobregat.
What will your main responsibilities be?
- Lead challenging and innovative projects associated with automated system solutions such as AMR, Conveyor Systems, Robotic Systems and Storage Systems.
- Take the ownership as lead engineer of new product development (NPD), including system design, components selection, testing and data analysis. Work with team members to manage the project plan.
- Execute V-model activities such as system requirements definition, system design, system verification and validation. Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and serviceability are covered.
- Define Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and derive reliability requirements fromthis analysis.
- Define strategy for verification and validation including use of simulators, emulators, andphysical testing.
What are the minimum requirements?
- University Degree in industrial engineering, mechatronics or a related discipline.
- At least 7-10 years of professional engineering experience, preferably in automation, machine building, automotive or aerospace industries. Full cycle V-model systems engineering experience in systems involving mix of hardware and software.
- Experience with reliability engineering techniques such as FMEA and reliability growth testing. Strong analytical and conceptual skills and high goal-oriented approach.
- Excellent command of Spanish and English.
