Sector: our client is a based in Brussels which provides banking services and is a brokerage firm providing trading in a number of financial instruments.
Position Overview: The objective of this project is strategic, focusing on ensuring the excellence of internal processes and strengthening the company''s risk management. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization in an agile and collaborative environment.
What to expect in this role:
- Actively participate in the execution of the annual Permanent Control plan through thematic analysis missions based on a risk-based approach.
- Assess the effectiveness, compliance, and efficiency of operational processes, in relation to regulations, Group directives, and internal procedures.
- Perform controls across all areas of the bank with the whole team.
- Identify risks, incidents, or dysfunctions, and propose relevant remediation plans to strengthen existing controls.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of recommendations and action plans to guarantee their effective implementation.
- Contribute to the improvement of tools and methods related to permanent control and compliance.
What will make you successful?
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Ideally in similar fields such as internal control, audit, or risk management.
- Mastery of Belgian regulatory frameworks and risk management systems within a financial institution.
- Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
- Independence, critical thinking, and the ability to defend your recommendations.
- Excellent command of French and English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
