The Role:
This position offers full accountability for all construction operations across Europe, with a strategic focus on active projects in Italy.
You will lead a team of experienced Project Managers and Site Supervisors, oversee EPC delivery, drive cost-efficiency, and ensure high-quality execution through all construction and commissioning phases.
This role also supports business development by contributing to the assessment of new markets and technologies, as well as guiding projects through the pre-construction lifecycle from permitting to Notice to Proceed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of Solar PV and BESS EPC projects in Europe with a focus on Italy
- Lead a cross-functional construction team, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures across the Italian project portfolio
- Collaborate with Development and BD teams to support project readiness and entry into new markets
- Mitigate construction risks and resolve technical or logistical bottlenecks
- Maintain clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Engineering degree preferred
- Proven leadership experience in large-scale renewable construction (Solar PV / BESS)
- Deep understanding of Italian construction practices, regulations, and permitting
- Track record managing EPCs and multidisciplinary construction teams
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Excellent commercial, planning, and stakeholder management skills
