GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
A key role in driving in revenue, margin and share growth, the role of the EMEA Product Manager Club Car and Garia will lead the EMEA market development, product strategy, execution and key partner relationships to support new product solutions in emerging vertical markets. A product manager is a critical role in our product management and marketing organization and will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on our Garia and Club car businesses within EMEA. The Product Manager is responsible for the product strategy/roadmap, managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering and operations to deliver growth. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Managers job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the companys overall strategy and goals. This person should possess strong analytical skills to allow him/her to make decisions around a product line to accelerate profitable growth.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Fact Base Market Analysis and Alignment: Align commercial business team on the market size and opportunities for managed product line define market size and segments, leverage existing research or conduct new research, develop fact base market analysis that clearly targets where to play for product line. Conduct regular industry, market and competitor analyses, including detailed segmentation of key vertical markets. Provide regular updates to leadership on market trends that directly impact product line and business.
- In Line Product Management: Accountable for the financial performance of the product line revenue, margin, price, share gain and mix. Must review performance monthly with leadership with a detailed review of revenue and margin performance driving countermeasure actions where needed. Lead the monthly execution on the demand planning process for all products leveraging market insight from industry, customers and sales organization. Accountable for monthly forecast for partners and internal Club Car/Garia. Conduct regularly scheduled, customer-focused portfolio reviews of all product/service lines under management, enabling effective decisions related to product lifecycle management (including product rationalization). Prepare financial reports on assigned product/service lines on a regular basis to keep business leaders informed of progress on volume, profitability and quality targets
- New Product Development and Roadmap Alignment: Develop product roadmap to support emerging verticals working cross functionally with engineering, operations, sales, finance and marketing peers. Create alignment on roadmap with commercial business leadership.
- Product Growth Strategy: Lead the strategy standard work and alignment with commercial team clearly defining Where to Play and How to Win for the product lines. Lead the cross-functional alignment with the marketing and sales teams to review and adjust the marketing strategy, plan (including targeted programs and promotions) and countermeasures for all existing product/service lines based on performance. Lead long-range plan development, P&L and yearly operating plan. Lead the execution of regularly scheduled customer-focused, multi-generation reviews for all assigned product/service lines
- Commercialization of New Products and Accessories: Define how to win strategy with new product launches attacking new verticals and driving channel partners to engage and support accelerated growth of new products. Work closely with marketing, sales and customer service team in developing and executing commercial plans to successfully launch new products and accessories.
- Cross Functional Leadership and Support with Sales, Operations and Engineering: Lead all sales support tactics to drive growth in product lines includes tools, collateral, training, program support and analysis. Work closely with marketing and sales on key sales meetings and tradeshows to include content creation, presentations and demonstrations.
