We''re looking for a Data Engineering Lead to spearhead the charge in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance data systems that bridge on-premises and cloud environments. What Youll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled data engineers, acting as the go-to technical authority.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines with a strong emphasis on stream processing and real-time analytics.
- Architect hybrid data solutions across cloud (preferably AWS) and on-premises infrastructures.
- Drive the migration of selected services from cloud to on-prem as part of cost-optimization strategies.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and integrity with robust delivery mechanisms and high availability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architecture, software engineering, and product to align technical strategy with business goals.
- Stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and integrate best-fit solutions into our data ecosystem.
What Youll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Expertise in Apache Kafka for designing and managing stream processing workflows (a must).
- Strong experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL and analytical DBs.
- Working knowledge of ClickHouse or similar data warehouse technologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Flink, Redis, RabbitMQ, Superset, Cube.js, Minio, Grafana nice to have.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams, providing mentorship and technical direction.
- Experience optimizing solutions for hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem).
- Familiarity with iGaming industry terminology and data challenges is a big plus.
