Nexeo is looking for a Medior Compliance Officer for a leading financial institution in Belgium.

Your role as a Medior Compliance Officer:
You will play a key role in ensuring the organization complies with legal regulations and ethical standards.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring national and international regulatory developments and translating them into internal procedures and guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.
- Advising branch networks, central services, and local compliance functions.
- Raising awareness and training employees on compliance matters.
- Acting as a key contact for compliance-related inquiries and whistleblowing cases.
- Preparing compliance reports and ensuring follow-up on recommendations.
- Participating in board meetings and reporting to senior management.
What are we looking for?
- Education: Degree in Law or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the financial sector.
- Certification: FSMA Certification (Mandatory only certified candidates will be considered).
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch, English, and French.
- Skills:Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Decision-making skills and a process-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently while being a team player.
