You will play a key role in developing and optimizing our platform. You will partner with our product management and sales teams to ensure a best in class customer experience.LOCATIONMilan, Italy or RemotePOSITIONFull-timeAbout the positionAs a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, develop, document, and support scalable self-running software that automatically generates and tests machine learning applications. You will apply the latest research and use state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning to build a scalable system. You will be involved in all phases of product development from conceptualization of features, model implementation, unit testing, performance analysis, and deployment.You will learn cutting-edge technologies and develop well-rounded skills such as agile development, leadership, and effective project management. You will mentor junior machine learning engineers. You will work both remotely and in the Milan office.ResponsibilitiesArchitect machine learning solutionsSolve complex problemsDesign for computational efficiency and scaleImplement solutions for broadly defined problemsDrive best practices and engineering excellenceWork closely with the product management and sales teams to ensure a best in class solutionQualifications & SkillsMasters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative fieldExcellent understanding and experience in the field of AI and related technologies2+ years hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models (supervised and unsupervised methods, clustering, classification, tabular data, timeseries forecasts, deep learning)2+ years hands-on experience in Python and its data-related libraries (pandas, numpy)Knowledge of Linux systems, bash and command line toolsExperience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure or others)Proven ability to work in a fast paced, agile environmentDoes that sound like you?We would love to hear from you!Please send your CV to info@smartfab.ai.
