Role and responsibilities
As Product Manager, you are the owner of the existing and new product developed by Unisensor. Your responsibilities include:
- Market research: analyzes customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape.
- Establish development roadmaps by creating a strategic plan over time for the product portfolio, aligned with business goals.
- In consultation with our experts, define technical specifications and functional features of new product developments.
- Leading the product lifecycle by listening closely to customer needs, translating insights into innovative solutions, and guiding development from concept to market maturity.
- Acting as the link between commercial and technical teams ensuring cross-functional collaboration to position the product strategically in a fast-evolving market and ensure impactful launches and go to market strategy.
- Owning all customer-product-related topics, driving clarity and alignment across internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborating with Marketing to shape the global story, crafting clear message that resonates with the target audiences.
- Defining a global pricing strategy that not only aligns with market conditions but also anticipates trends and reflects the products differentiated value.
- Partnering with Sales and Customer Support teams to build strong customer relationships, gather feedback, identify improvement needs of existing products, and uncover new opportunitiesrefining strategies in line with market evolution.
Profile
You may be the right fit if you combine technical expertise with business orientation and strong interpersonal skills:
- You hold a masters degree in sciences (in a scientific discipline, e.g., Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or Veterinary Science) or a similar field and bring at least 5 years of experience in product management Experience (in the field of diagnostics is an asset);
- You bring a commercially minded approach to product management, with hands-on experience working closely with sales and marketing teams.
- You are a people-oriented individual, naturally curious, proactive, and eager to understand customer environments and challenges;
- You enjoy being challenged by clients, and you know how to present yourself and your product with confidence and clarity;
- You are an inspiring, results-driven leader.
- You work autonomously and take ownership easily.
Youre a strong communicator and listener who connects well with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
You are fluent in English (oral and written); knowledge of French or other languages is an asset.
Youre open to travel up to 50% of your time to meet customers and drive product success in the field.
