Job Summary
The Tour Delivery Manager is responsible for developing and managing regional tour manager teams to deliver an excellent on-tour experience, focusing on recruitment, training, development, and collaboration with the product team to ensure the achievement of Collette brand standards. Tour Manager performance is the key driver of the on-tour experience, and we aspire to have the best Tour Managers in the industry.
Primary Functions
- Hiring/recruitment: Develop annual hiring and recruitment strategies to support business growth by sourcing top candidates who meet our quality standards.
- Training and team development: Evolve training strategies based on individual and team needs through various models and coaching. Conduct tour prep and briefing for new and existing Tour Managers. Assist in resolving issues on the road when necessary. Support the planning and execution of the annual TM Collaboration Meeting.
- Performance management: Manage team members to achieve metrics tied to customer feedback using our quality management tools. Identify training opportunities and resources.
- Support product design and marketing initiatives: Contribute to tour enhancements and marketing content through input from the regional team.
- Travel: This position requires some travel, estimated at 4 tours per year.
- Collaboration: Improve operational processes and efficiencies to support tour managers, product enhancements, new product development, and emergency protocols.
Knowledge and Skills
- 3-5 years of industry or management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish
