Who we are
What The Future has developed 3DTI, a breakthrough low environmental impact, local production solution for small batches through to mass manufacturing for various industries. Flexibility of volume allows production to match consumer trends. 3DTI enables the production of circular products by producing with reusable materials on demand and reduces the number of products that end up in landfill.
We are currently focused on using 3DTI to power the local production of footwear, simplifying supply chains, reducing risk and enabling manufacturers to meet fast-changing demand.
Who we''re looking for
We''re looking for an RD Lab Technician Materials/Formulations to join our multidisciplinary team in creating ambitious clean manufacturing methods.
Successful candidates will have a background in Material Science or a related field, and strong problem solving skills. Youll work closely with the team to test and document materials that will be used in the production of footwear. We work primarily with natural rubber latex formulations.
Within our company all specialists are also generalists, we all roll up our sleeves and contribute to disciplines outside of our own specialty. This role is best suited for a curious, flexible candidate with entrepreneurial spirit.
This role is based at our headquarters in Amsterdam.
