With a strong presence in major European markets, this business offers a full range of services from design and construction to commissioning, across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
Our client is currently delivering multiple high-profile data centre projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.
We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their project team in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with measuring work packages from drawings and apply rates to compile package pricing
- Manage the project budget under the direction of the Project Director
- Maintain relevant communications with clients
- Prepare and submit monthly reports in line with internal procedures
- Attend commercial and subcontractor meetings on a monthly basis
- Resolve any disputes with clients or subcontractors efficiently
- Submit claims and notices in accordance with contractual timelines
- Track cost changes and assist in the preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Strong organisation, communication, and time management skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
- Previous data centre experience is advantageous but not essential
