We are currently seeking a Piping Materials Engineer Junior, reporting directly to the Piping Materials Section Head, to join our Materials Management team based in Rome.You will work within the Materials Management Section, responsible for managing Piping Materials definition, procurement, and quantity follow-up.Initially, you will join a project as a Piping Material Engineer Junior, under the coordination of the Materials Management Discipline Coordinator.The goal for the candidate is to grow and encompass all Piping Material Management issues.Key interactions for the Piping Material Engineer include internal collaboration with Project teams, Process, Civil Engineering, Piping Designers, Instrumentation specialists, IT, Estimating and Cost Control Departments, Construction Department, Planning Department; and external engagement with Clients and Suppliers.The role and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Supporting the development of Piping Classes Summary & Piping Classes;Assisting in creating Job Specifications for design and supply;Preparing Data Sheets for special materials;Supporting Piping Material Take-Offs, Working Instructions, and monitoring quantities;Assisting in preparing Material Requisitions for inquiry and purchase;Evaluating vendor offers, performing technical Bid Tabulations, including clarifications and deviations;Re-evaluating quantities for Purchasing and Construction;Collaborating on Piping Materials Forecast to ensure material availability at site for construction.You will have opportunities for business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit vendor workshops, and collaborate with colleagues at other Technip Energies centers and overseas.Occasionally, you may also follow up on engineering activities related to Piping Materials directly at our Plant sites, supporting prefabrication and erection activities.We offer not just a job but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment, where innovation, creativity, and a pioneering spirit drive our people.About YouWed love to hear from you if your profile meets these essential requirements:Only local contract considerationsPermit to work in ItalyLanguages: fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)Main Skills:Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international teamGrowth mindset and continuous improvement attitudeExcellent presentation and communication skills at all levelsAttention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and on timeWillingness for international mobility, short or long-termOpen attitude towards emerging energy sources and digital toolsIT Skills:Strong MS Office skills, especially ExcelInclusion StandardsWe are committed to fostering an inclusive culture through four Gold Standards:Challenging biases and embracing diversity of thoughtRecognizing that collective knowledge and solutions matterCreating a respectful, supportive environmentPromoting active listening for effective decision-makingWhats Next?After submitting your application, our Recruiting Team will review your skills and experience to assess fit.
