Job Title: Director of Facility OperationsAs a Director of Facility Operations, you will direct and oversee property-level operations to ensure the full functionality and safety of all facilities, thereby protecting and providing a high level of efficiency and well-being for owners, guests, and team members.Responsibilities include:Provide leadership and oversight of field operations to ensure compliance with design standards and quality assurance guidelines to maintain the assets of owners and the Board of Directors.Monitor the conditions of the property, including buildings, amenities, and common land, covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, equipment, and life safety systems.Create monitoring checks and balances to detect necessary repairs, assess equipment efficiency, and control departmental responsibilities.Oversee maintenance for profit centers, including supervision of work order controls for interior units and HVAC preventative maintenance programs.Conduct property audits to evaluate maintenance programs and standards related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other equipment.Negotiate contracts and bids for service agreements, projects, and capital improvements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Determine staffing needs and oversee recruiting, hiring, and training of team members.Monitor and evaluate team member performance.Maintain accurate records pertinent to department operations.Serve as the contact for reporting damage or loss to buildings or equipment, working to mitigate losses and expedite solutions.The ideal candidate:Possesses working knowledge of tools and procedures related to all maintenance and construction trades.Has a minimum of 10 years supervisory and management experience.Holds a Master''s Degree or equivalent work-related experience.Can work under pressure.Is available to work during weekends and bank holidays as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
