From day one, you will be the focal pointfor all procurement activities, ensuring that the hotel has theright products and services at the right time. Your meticulousattention to detail and ability to manage the logistics of multiplestakeholders will be crucial in setting up the hotel for success.What Youll Do: As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsibleto: - Coordinate all purchases and deliveries for the hotelsoperation, from daily supplies to major equipment, ensuringeverything is in place for the hotels smooth launch and ongoingoperations. - Taking a hands-on, proactive approach to procurement,youll anticipate needs, negotiate prices, and source high-qualitygoods while managing costs and controlling waste. - Maintain strongrelationships with suppliers and external vendors, ensuring thebest quality and value. Youll manage orders, oversee tenderprocesses, and liaise with suppliers to meet the hotel''s standards.- Serve as the central point of communication between departmentsto ensure smooth purchasing operations and that all teams needsare met promptly. - Ensure accurate administration of all invoicesand adherence to proper bookkeeping procedures and support annualquality audits - Oversee inventory control, performing regularstocktakes, and ensuring that all materials are correctly recordedin the system. Youll ensure all storage areas remain safe, clean,and organized. - Handle challenges as they arise, providingsolutions to any purchasing issues, delivery delays, ordiscrepancies. Your ability to stay flexible and organized will becrucial as business demands fluctuate. - Follow and enforceapproved purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring consistencywith Corinthias high standards and the hotels operational needs.- Play a key role in developing and training the purchasing team,ensuring everyone is equipped with the knowledge and tools toperform efficiently. - What Were Looking For: - You should havethree years of experience in Purchasing and/or Cost Control,ideally in the luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment - Ahighly organized individual with strong attention to detail,capable of managing multiple priorities at once. - You take theinitiative to anticipate needs, resolve issues, and improveprocesses continuously. - Able to build and maintain relationshipswith both internal teams and external suppliers, with fluency inboth English and Italian. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, Outlook) and experience with purchasing systems such asAdaco is a plus. - Strong analytical skills and a knack for findingefficient solutions to problems as they arise. - Prepared to handlethe physical demands of the job, including lifting and rotatingstock, and flexibility with work hours as needed.
