As part of the Owner''s Engineering team, the successful candidate will assist in the review and coordination of instrumentation engineering deliverables during the Appraisal Phase Studies (APS) and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) stages.Key Responsibilities:* Support the development and review of instrumentation deliverables for Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) projects during the APS and FEED phases.* Assist in the evaluation of contractor documentation, including instrument datasheets, I/O lists, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and specifications.* Contribute to the definition and verification of control system interfaces, instrument selection, and process measurement strategies.* Work closely with the process, control, and safety teams to ensure alignment of instrumentation with overall project requirements.* Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISA) and licensor requirements, particularly for modifications to existing units or integration of proprietary systems.* Participate in reviews such as HAZOP, SIL assessments, and vendor document evaluations under supervision of senior staff.* Provide technical input during instrumentation procurement and support vendor follow-up when required.Qualifications* Bachelor''s degree (or equivalent) in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or a related field from a recognized university.* Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering roles within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.* Familiarity with instrumentation for process control and safety systems, particularly in FEED or early design phases.* Basic knowledge of major control platforms and field instrumentation technologies.* Understanding of engineering standards such as ISA, IEC, API, and related practices.* Strong communication and coordination skills with a willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.* Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus.Additional InformationAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our human resources policy.
