OHB Italia is seeking a Spacecraft Operations Engineer (m/f) Ref. Sat_SOE_2025 for its Satellite and Missions Department in Rome.In the context of the IRIDE Mission, OHB-I will operate its Eaglet-2 constellation (10+ satellites) throughout the entire operational life cycle.We are looking for an experienced Spacecraft Operations Engineer to support the preparation and execution of operations.TasksUnderstand the mission objectives and spacecraft design.Author and validate Flight Operations Procedures and Ground Operations Procedures.Identify spacecraft anomalies and support troubleshooting throughout the anomaly cycle.Generate reports and console logs.Prepare monitoring displays.Create Flight Training Material.Monitor and command the spacecraft.Extract and analyze telemetry data to assess spacecraft health and status.Implement configuration updates.Support System Validation Test (SVT), System Operations Validation (SOV), Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP), and Commissioning Plans and Procedures.Participate in operations execution, including shift work and on-call duties.Support mission planning, including system and orbit maneuver planning and product approval.QualificationsA Masters degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace/Space Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.Experience with spacecraft monitoring and mission control systems.Experience in spacecraft operations preparation (FOP/GOP generation and validation).Experience in anomaly resolution.Solid knowledge of spacecraft operations.Knowledge of database manipulation and data analysis is a plus.Knowledge of ground segment architecture and interfaces is a plus.Knowledge of mission planning systems is a plus.Knowledge of spacecraft flight dynamics is advantageous.Experience interfacing with spacecraft suppliers.Additional AssetsKnowledge of CCSDS Packet Utilization Standard (PUS) rev. A and C.Knowledge of Procedure Language for Users in Test and Operations (PLUTO).Knowledge of SCOS2000 Database Import ICD.Knowledge of Space Link Extension (SLE) protocol.Familiarity with Manufacturing and Operations Information System (MOIS) tools is a plus.Knowledge of ECSS-E-ST-70C is a plus.Ability to work independently and good communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
