Our client, a multinational information technology services and consulting company, is recruiting a Business Process Consultant to join their project in the Netherlands. Position Title: Business Process Consultant Position Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Location: The Hague, Netherlands Contact: Bojan Ulemek | +49 89 23 88 98 671 Key Responsibilities: Process Analysis and Assessment: Evaluate existing business processes across various departments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with key stakeholders to gather detailed information about current processes. Perform gap analysis to compare current state processes with desired outcomes. Process Design and Optimization: Design new or improved business processes that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Develop detailed process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools to support business processes. Serving as a subject matter expert on business processes and providing support and guidance to internal teams. Implementation and Change Management: Work with teams to implement new or revised processes, ensuring that changes are effectively integrated into the organization. Conducting training sessions and workshops for stakeholders to facilitate process adoption and change management. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented processes. Monitor process performance and gather feedback to identify areas for further improvement. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders on process improvement initiatives and outcomes. Collaborate with various departments, including IT, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment and support for process changes. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues. Requirements Elicitation and documentation Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define business objectives. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as BRDs and validate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity through the project lifecycle. Required Skills and Experience Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field, a Masters degree is a plus. Experience: 10+ years of experience in business process consulting, or related roles preferably within the telecoms industry. Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, CBPP, TM Forum Business Process Framework or other relevant certifications are highly desirable. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions. Process Modeling: Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Aris, Lucidchart) and techniques (e.g., BPMN). Project Management: Experience in project management and implementation of process improvement initiatives. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various audiences. Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles and practices, with experience in leading successful change initiatives. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.
