It operates across several European countries,financing projects that benefit both people and the environment.Jobomschrijving You are responsible for a portfolio of corporateclients in Belgium who are classified as "unlikely to pay" or"defaulted." Your dual mission is to restore the client and theirbusiness to a "sustainable going concern" situation whileminimizing losses for the bank. If there are realistic prospectsfor resolving the client''s financial difficulties, your role is toanalyze them, negotiate with the client, implement a concreteaction plan, and ensure follow-up. Conversely, if the situationcannot be restored, you will be responsible for terminating thecredit facilities and maximizing recovery for the bank. You aretherefore part of the Credit Risk department. In line with thecompany''s values, you communicate with all stakeholders in asmooth, transparent, and comprehensive manner throughout yourintervention. Your contacts include the client, the relationshipmanager, and the credit committee, as well as the client''s otherbanks, the trustee, legal advisor, notary, real estate broker, andother third parties such as investors or new shareholders. Jouwprofiel - To succeed in this position, you should: Hold auniversity degree, preferably with a legal or economic focus. - Becapable of independently assessing financial and legal matters. -Have a minimum of 5 years'' experience in relationship management orcredit analysis for SME, corporate, or non-profit clients, orpossess at least 5 years'' experience as a lawyer in pre-litigationor litigation for similar clientele. - Be proficient in Dutch, witha good command of French and English. - Demonstrate resilience tostress and the ability to work autonomously within a team. -Exhibit assertiveness. - Be capable of conducting independentnegotiations with external parties. - Possess a structured mindset,precision, and efficiency, enabling you to process extensiveinformation.
