Are you ready to lead and elevate the HR function in a fast-paced, international trading environment? At West Coast Supply Group, we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking HR Manager to drive our people strategy, enhance employee engagement, and lead a growing HR team from our HQ in Leiden.
As HR Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and the strategic partner for our management in all people-related matters. You will lead a team of HR Business Partners and Specialists, champion our company culture, and ensure that our HR policies and practices not only support our business goals but also empower our people to thrive.
Your role:
- Lead, coach, and develop a dynamic HR team (36 direct reports, 1-3 indirect reports)
- Drive the alignment of HR strategies with business objectives across departments
- Partner with senior leaders to support workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives
- Coach and challenge senior management to elevate leadership effectiveness
- Oversee initiatives that promote employee engagement, inclusion, and well-being
- Manage leadership pipeline and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
- Oversee budgets for recruitment and learning development
- Actively contribute to creating a high-performance culture
What you bring:
- A bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of HR business partnering experience, including at least 35 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing impactful HR initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Experience with policy development and strategic business partnering
- Strong business acumen with a hands-on, solution-oriented HR mindset
- Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and align cross-functional teams
- A self-starting attitude, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
