Warehouse Junior Analyst
We are looking for a Warehouse Junior Planner to optimize warehouse operations through efficient delivery planning, inventory management, and process improvement. This role ensures that all processes run smoothly. You will collaborate in the analysis of warehouse layout, manage inventory flow, and support the implementation of operational improvements to meet organizational objectives.
Maintaining constant communication with internal and external teams is essential to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the outsourced warehouse to identify process improvement opportunities. Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and technologies in the warehouse. Monitor warehouse activities and recommend solutions to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Inventory Management Support: Collaborate in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring maximum stock availability. Conduct regular inventory audits and support stock reconciliation between warehouses. Assist in the implementation of inventory control systems to maintain accurate records.
- Generation of Orders to the Warehouse: Coordinate and generate orders to the warehouse, ensuring correct planning and execution. Work closely with the logistics provider and sales team to ensure deliveries are made to customers within established timelines.Ensure orders are properly documented and managed, following established procedures for effective delivery.
- Warehouse Layout and Space Planning: Analyze efficient warehouse layouts to maximize space and storage capacity. Plan the optimal location of products based on their size, demand frequency, and handling requirements. Review and propose improvements to both warehouse design and capacities to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze warehouse data to evaluate performance metrics such as order fulfillment rates, storage efficiency, and inventory turnover. Provide regular reports on warehouse operations, space utilization, and inventory status. Assist in forecasting and planning warehouse resources based on demand trends.
Skills for the Position
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Knowledge in managing relationships with outsourced service providers
- Ability to work in a team, coordinate multiple tasks effectively, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and proactivity
- Ability to manage change and solve problems proactively in a dynamic setting
- Commitment to sustainability
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Requirements for the Position
- Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
- At least 3 years in similar roles, preferably in the footwear or fashion industry
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional language skills are a plus
- Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and focus on continuous improvement
