Asan AS400 Developer/Analyst, you will develop new andmaintain/adapt/improve existing IT applications on the business''sdemand by programming independently in a stipulated programminglanguage, supporting projects, and collaborating in a team.Contribute to and validate the functional analysis andspecification of requests for IT developments: Realize IT projectsaccording to approved functional specifications and within theapproved budget and planning. Conduct code reviews and follow-uprelease management. Develop new programs or adapt existing programsin respect of the existing standards. Test new developments beforesubmitting them to the key-user for user testing Document his/herrealizations. Maintain and improve existing IT applications: Handleall incoming requests related to the applications you''reresponsible for (Tickets). Correct bugs in the applications you''reresponsible for. Analyze root causes of frequent problems andpropose fundamental solutions. Realize approved improvements.Maintain user and technical documentation. Support business usersin the usage of the existing IT applications: Define the requiredavailability levels and response times with the business owners.Elaborate support procedures, with escalation to external partieswhere appropriate. Measure and report the achieved availabilitylevels and response times. Assist users in the improved usage ofthe existing applications. General: Propose improvements in theexisting applications so as to reduce their Total Cost of Ownership(TCO). Collaborate in a constructive way with colleagues in IT andin the business so as to realize the mission of DKV IT. Timelyreport on the status and the progress of his/her assignments.Actively contribute to the team meetings and to the communitymeetings. Participate with permanence when required. Should have adegree in IT, or similar experience Junior profile: Minimum 2 yearsof experience Senior profile: minimum 5 years of experienceLanguages: English and one of the national languages (Dutch orFrench), other languages are a plus Technical knowledge: AS400IBM/I Database: DB2 RPG IV/ILE, Free RPG, Service Programs, CL,DFU, RLU, MQ, SQL, SDA Be a motivated team player, positivelycontributing to the team''s objective.
