We are committed to rescuing land from degradation, enhancing biodiversity and revitalizing rural communities.PurposeManage the defined asset/building/unit to deliver the agreed business objectives and full compliance requirements- Short /medium term planning and development of human and material resources to meet agreed customer promises creating a culture and an environment which supports a continuous improvement philosophyDevelop and align the mid and long term sector asset strategy according to the supply chain business needs.AccountabilitiesAnalyze and agree production plans for the building / unit manage interfaces with support functions- Monitor performance and initiate action to ensure that customer promises are achieved on time, in full and to agreed quality and costs complying with HSE standards- Recruit team members, develop and manage individual and team performance targets, along with an ongoing training and development programmer which maximizes their contribution to asset operation- Implement the production and asset strategies, as agreed with the Supply Chain Team (SCT), in order to meet ongoing needs- Assist in the preparation of plant annual budgets, monitor and control expenditure within agreed limits to meet business objectives- Monitor and maintain building / unit performance (HSEQ and Production) to deliver levels of performance which meet both internal and external requirements- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs/improve efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement- Coach and develop members of the team to enhance team engagement and overall team capability- Provide short to medium term production information into SCT / production head and liaise with Supply Chain Managers as appropriate.QualificationsPrevious experience requiredA minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing- Experience of HSEQ related duties in a regulated environment- Experience in team leadership roles- Project management experienceEducation requiredA degree in Chemistry or Chemical EngineeringPrimary LocationCHE-Monthey-MontheyJob- CP Production
