We are looking for a proactive HR Assistant to support our logistics center (ca. 25 employees) in Woerden, Netherlands. In this varied role, you will manage local administrative HR operations across the full employee lifecycle and provide essential organizational support to the General Manager.
As the key local HR contact, you will handle day-to-day processes from onboarding to offboarding, assist with payroll, and help implement global HR initiatives at the site level. Youll also coordinate general administrative tasks and act as a central point for employees and external partners.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently while contributing to both local and international HR projects in a dynamic and hands-on environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and external stakeholders.
- Create, update, and maintain accurate HR records and personnel files.
- Manage all administrative tasks across the entire employee lifecycle.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and verifying payroll-related data.
- Organize and coordinate training sessions; track attendance, completion, and certifications.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics such as absenteeism, sick leave, and vacation balances.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the local General Manager.
- Coordinate meetings, arrange travel logistics, and oversee office supplies and general communication.
- Manage front-desk responsibilities, including welcoming guests and handling incoming inquiries.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken Dutch English (additional languages a plus).
