Responsibilities Direct and control the production operations so that finished product is available on time to meet customer requirements within agreed quality and cost parameters; Develop organisation to meet customer requirements with an operative and continuous improvement approach; handling operational customer relations on an everyday basis; Contribute to mid and short term forecasting and planning by providing input to Sales and Supply Chain Management about capacity and costs; Plan production in line with the overall capacity plan; Define, follow up and control deviations regarding annual budget and investments (forecasted budget vs. actual); Profitable performance through lean, operational excellence and consistent processes and procedures; Develop productivity through improved production processes, methods and tools; Ensure optimal fixed asset level and capacity utilisation rate in operations; Ensure timely information and communication between functions inside the plant organization. Qualifications Masters degree in Engineering; a degree in business or economic studies is an advantage; 5-8 years experience in an operational leadership position in an industry with an international customer base; Overall understanding of ERP systems from an operational standpoint; Exposure to Lean and Operational Excellence tools; Fluent English; Polish and German is an advantage; Ability to handle stress and solve problems.
