As a Test Engineer for Rockwell Automation, you will be involved with activities related to design and implementation of test automation. You will be involved in design of automation tests working with our Product Engineers part of team developing a rigorous verification and validation program to enhance the robustness of Rockwell Automation products. You will report to the local Manager, Customer Success and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland. Monitoring automated tests results and reporting software defects to agreed team members. Making sure that team's automated and manual tests have appropriate coverage and are developed to verify quality of tested products. Supporting team in functional and system requirements analysis required to design and verify added and changed functionality. Learn about network communication protocols used in Industrial Automation Monitoring testing process adopted by the team and report any inefficiencies to agreed team members. Facilitating experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners both within local team and with remote team members. Master`s or bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. ~Experience using several programming and scripting languages, like Python. ~ Understanding of computer networks ~ Good English skills (written and verbal). Knowledge of Python 3 and test frameworks. Knowledge of network communication (ISO / OSI model, BSD socket API). Knowledge of some network protocols in the cross section of the ISO / OSI model: Programming of PLCs (Programmable logic controller).
