Site/Senior Engineer – Irish Midlands | €65,000-€90,000 (doe) + BenefitsA well-established main contractor is seeking a Site/Senior Engineer to join their team for key projects in the Irish Midlands- Laois/ Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.Responsibilities• Oversee site engineering activities, including setting out, levelling, and surveying.• Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and industry regulations.• Coordinate with the site management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient site operations.• Monitor and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.• Assist in the preparation of progress reports, quality documentation, and as-built records.• Identify and resolve technical challenges, providing support to site teams and project managers.• Liaise with design teams and consultants to clarify project details and address any issues that arise.Requirements• A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.• Previous experience in a site engineering role, ideally with a main contractor.• Proficiency in setting out, using surveying equipment, and interpreting technical drawings.• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.• A full driving license and willingness to travel to site as required.This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with the opportunity to work on high-profile projects with a leading contractor
