Our products guarantee high performance, are energy efficient, and environmentally sustainable.PosizioneThe Software Solution Designer role involves designing, developing, and testing applications for the HVAC/R market using CAREL programmable controls (PLC) and supervisory systems. The control solutions aim to help CAREL customers (Manufacturers, System Integrators, Retail and Property owners, etc.) achieve high efficiency, connected, and sustainable solutions for cooling, heating, and ventilation in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.Main AccountabilitiesDesign, develop, and test software to program CAREL controllers to meet customer and market expectationsWork on projects from conception to feasibility analysis, development, testing, and final delivery with a focus on innovationDefine detailed specifications and technical designsProvide customer support on programming tools for application software maintenance and trainingRequisitiEducation in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent technical fieldGood knowledge of algorithms and data structuresKnowledge of PLC programming languages such as ST, ladder logic, FBDKnowledge of communication protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus Ethernet, Bacnet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, etc.Ability to develop software in ST, Java, Javascript, Python, C++Ability to develop web applications (HTML, Javascript)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical specificationsProficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging large codebasesAbility to document requirements and specificationsKnowledge or experience in thermodynamics or HVAC/R applications is preferredGood English proficiency and ability to work with global teamsTeamwork, enthusiasm, a ''hands-on'' approach, and project management skillsGood attitude in relationships and communication with colleagues, sales network, and customersAltre InformazioniWhat we offerWork-life balance: remote working and flexitimeOnboarding program and ongoing trainingCompany welfare: canteen, life insurance, welfare platform, bonuses, school contributionsCarel BoostCamp: a three-year training course for new hires under 30 to develop transversal skillsOur commitmentsWe are committed to sustainability, responsible governance, and fostering an inclusive, diverse workplace.
