The Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated freelance developer with experience in Golang and React to help us expand our integration ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and maintaining integrations between Sampo''s SaaS application and various e-commerce store platforms (like Salla and Zid) as well as custom integrations for enterprise customers (e.g. food aggregators).
You will be working with us part-time on project basis initially, but the role might transform into a full-time employee role (not mandatory).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing company in the dynamic MENA e-commerce space, contributing directly to our product''s reach and utility.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, test, and deploy robust integrations between Sampo''s API and third-party e-commerce platforms (starting with Salla, followed by Zid and others).
- Build custom integration solutions for enterprise clients, including platforms like food aggregators, ensuring seamless data flow (e.g., retrieving customer data, sending pricing changes, A/B test instructions).
- Work primarily withGolangfor backend integration logic, consuming Sampo''s well-documented API and the APIs of target platforms.
- UtilizeReactfor any minor frontend tasks or components required to support these integrations (e.g., simple configuration interfaces or status displays within partner platforms, if needed).
- Collaborate with Sampo''s experienced internal development team for guidance, support, and to understand integration requirements.
- Ensure data is accurately mapped and transformed between systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues.
Required Skills Experience:
- Proven mid-level experience as a software developer.
- Strong proficiency inGolangfor backend development.
- Good working knowledge ofReactfor frontend tasks.
- Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience in developing integrations between different software systems, ideally SaaS products or e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the e-commerce ecosystem (platforms, common data models, operational flows).
- Direct experience integrating with e-commerce platforms popular in the MENA region, especiallySalla or Zid.
- Previous experience working on integrations for e-commerce businesses or marketplaces.
- Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
- Understanding of data synchronization patterns and best practices.
- Experience working in a remote, freelance capacity.
