Foreign Bill for Collection and Foreign GuaranteesThe consultant must have detailed knowledge of URDG 758 and URC 522 uniform rules for FBCs and Guarantees.- The consultant coordinates the processing of FBC and Guarantees, incoming fees, invoicing, and the administration of the FBC and Guarantees and communicates with internal and external customers- The candidate will be responsible for handling the incoming and outgoing Bills of Collection and Foreign Guarantees transactions- Efficiently resolve all queries regarding Foreign Bills for CollectionLetter of CreditThe Letter of Credit consultant coordinates the processing of letters of credit, incoming fees, invoicing, and the administration of letters of credit; communicates with internal and external customers- The consultant will verify, pay and accepts or rejects documents presented under Letters of Credit.- Determines compliance in accordance with L/C terms and international guidelines.- Ensures accuracy, proper setup, and completeness of all Letters of Credit.- Effectively communicates verbal and written information regarding Letters of Credit to both internal and external customers- Efficiently resolve all queries regarding Letter of CreditsEffective team work and self managementMaintain high standards of professionalism at all times- Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self management in terms of planning and prioritising- Subscribe to and embed the Investec culture and values into the team- Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained- Inform relevant parties in the event of tasks or deadlines not met and provide appropriate resolution- Support and drives the business core values- High awareness to various risk and compliance issues within the role and business- Maintain a positive attitude- Respond openly to feedback- Take ownership for own career development- Manage colleagues and clients expectations and communicate appropriately- Demonstrate willingness to help others and go the extra mile to meet team targets and objectives
