A leading aerospace organization is seeking a Spacecraft Electronics Engineer to contribute to developing microsatellite platforms and mission-specific electronics. The ideal candidate will have a background in electronic, aerospace, or telecommunications engineering and a passion for the space industry. This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects within the space and science domains, supporting multiple teams and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design of avionics systems for microsatellite platforms and mission-specific electronics.
- Assist in defining and designing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
- Supporting the design and maintenance of the electrical engineering laboratory at the spacecraft assembly facility.
- Collaborate with the systems engineering team to ensure proper integration of avionics with other spacecraft subsystems.
- Assist the Assembly, Integration, and Verification (AIV) team in testing and validating satellite components.
- Provide technical support on other space and science-related projects.
Experience and Skills:
- A degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electronics or aerospace engineering.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, with good communication skills.
- High-level electronic design, including microcontrollers, power conditioning, and radiofrequency technology.
- PCB design using commercial software like Altium.
