As an OP Welder, you''ll work with advanced automated welding systems on steel plates weighing up to 42 tons and measuring 27 meters long. Youll operate with multiple welding heads, high amperage, and impressive precision to meet the industrys highest standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing high-speed, deep-penetration SAW welding
- Setting up and calibrating equipment per procedure
- Conducting safety checks and wearing appropriate PPE
- Monitoring weld quality from start to finish
- Contributing directly to offshore wind turbine foundations
What were looking for:
- A passion for welding and metalworking
- Precision, responsibility, and attention to detail
- Interest in advanced welding methods like SAW
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- VCA Basic certification (or willingness to obtain it)
