Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it operates in over 50 countries with about 30,000 employees of diverse nationalities.Saipem values diversity and inclusion, promoting a work environment that respects individual dignity and encourages collaboration, fairness, and support.We are seeking a Welding Technologies Engineer to support the development of the Welding Department with the following responsibilities:ActivitiesComplete training at our Pipeline Technologies Center in Romania, then continue developing and qualifying welding procedures.Support welding activities at production sites (onshore or offshore).Lead the welding team on site (approximately 20-30 welders, beveling machine operators, welding technicians).Participate in welding procedure development and qualification, as well as R&D activities at the Romanian Pipeline Technologies Center.On-site/Onboard ResponsibilitiesSupervise welder training and qualification processes.Oversee pre-fabrication and fabrication activities during project execution.Ensure proper application of qualified welding procedures and specifications.Verify weld quality against project acceptance criteria.Achieve targeted productivity levels.Manage availability of welding consumables and spare parts.Organize maintenance of welding equipment with technicians.Coordinate welding team rotations.Report daily progress, quality, and productivity issues.Prepare close-out reports at project completion, including lessons learned and improvement suggestions.QualificationsHigh school diploma minimum.
