In this role, you willwork collaboratively with various departments to ensure compliancewith fire safety regulations and to implement effective fireprevention strategies. Your expertise will be essential in planningand conducting fire risk analyses, managing documentation, andsupporting emergency preparedness initiatives. KeyResponsibilities: - Fire Risk Analysis: Plan, organize, and conductfire risk analyses in accordance with current legislation andestablished schedules. - Corrective Actions: Ensure follow-up oncorrective actions resulting from fire risk analyses. - AdvisorySupport: Respond to requests for advice and guidance on fireprevention for all Engineering, BelTech, Facilities, and Businessprojects. - Document Management: Manage documentation related tofire safety, including the collection and archiving of firedepartment opinions and the compilation of building files (materialcertificates, exemptions). - Collaboration: Work closely withperiodic control and maintenance departments (RF doors, firedetection, extinguishing systems, etc.). - Safety Plans Update:Collaborate in updating safety plans, includingcompartmentalization, evacuation routes, and placement ofextinguishers. - Support During Inspections: Provide support toteams during visits from insurers or official organizations (DCRC,Firefighters, ANPI, etc.). - Evacuation Drills: Plan and organizeevacuation drills for all buildings. - On-Call Duty: Ensure 24/7on-call availability (callable and recallable) as part of theInternal Emergency Plan (1 week out of 7). - Emergency PlanCollaboration: Collaborate with the Emergency & Response PlanManager in the development of the Internal Emergency Plan.Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in fire preventionwithin the pharmaceutical industry (or equivalent). SpecificSkills: - In-depth knowledge and mastery of Belgian and Europeanlegislation regarding fire prevention. - Proficiency in variousfire risk analysis methods. - Strong understanding of Belgianlegislation related to Safety, Health, and Environment (Well-beingCode). - Excellent organizational and planning skills. ProblemSolving: - Must be proactive and assertive in recognizing,analyzing, and solving problems. - Strong communication skills withthe ability to engage in proactive dialogue to propose pragmaticsolutions in collaboration with management.
