Main Tasks
You will be responsible for the preparation and supervision of signal and power cabling activities, including:
Analyzing cable installation requests and liaising with requestors to obtain any missing information.
Conducting on-site surveys/technical visits to prepare and plan cabling activities.
Defining cable routes, preparing bills of quantities, and establishing quotations.
Documenting new cable installations and modifications in the Organizations cable database.
Developing comprehensive technical documentation detailing the cabling work to be carried out by the Organizations electrical installation contractor.
Supervising the execution of the work performed by the Organizations contractor, including daily progress reporting.
Acting as the Works and Services Supervisor in compliance with the Organizations Safety rules.
Performing inspection and acceptance of completed work.
Required skills:
At least 10 years of experience in electrical installation, including preparation and coordination of major cabling activities and worksite supervision.
In-depth knowledge of signal and power cables, including types, connectors and installation procedures.
Advanced level in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
Proficiency in working with Excel.
A proactive attitude and willingness to work both in the field and on technical documentation
Education:
A secondary degree, or high qualification, in the relevant field.
Electrical authorization: B0-B2V, BR, H0V
