About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer / Software Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced financial environment. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining robust, scalable data processing pipelines and services using modern cloud technologies, with a focus on Python, Databricks, and Azure. This position is open to candidates located in Spain.
Core Requirements
- Strong foundation in software engineering, testing, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Python for advanced data processing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale distributed data processing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of Git for version control.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure for cloud computing environments.
- Proficient in SQL for database queries, transformations, and data integrity.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with .NET (C#) development.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and big data storage patterns.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Understanding of monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Exposure to financial services or regulatory reporting is a strong plus.
