The TRANS4RM program aims to equip adidas with a future-ready enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, incorporating intelligent technologies such as data-driven AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Through the TRANS4RM Business Transformation, we are establishing the digital foundation to deliver a premium customer and consumer experience across all channels (Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce).
This role will be part of the 18-month testing phase, supporting the testing of the new ERP system, SAP S/4 HANA, for Market Europe (3 clusters – 8 zones – 29 countries) within the respective workstream area.
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The analyst will execute and validate testing for customs. This role ensures that solutions meet business requirements by working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and TRANS4RM teams to validate software, processes, and system configurations.
The ideal candidate will have a background in global logistics and/or customs, with a strong focus on executing test processes and reporting defects that impact deliverables and user experience. The role involves validating business processes, identifying gaps between current as-is and future to-be states, gathering stakeholder feedback, and clearly communicating findings and recommendations. In addition, the candidate will complement their logistics and customs expertise with an understanding of sourcing and supplier collaboration processes, supporting end-to-end inbound operations through platforms such asInfor Nexus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the Project strategy, approach, and scope to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Execute Project test plans, ensuring tests are completed on time and meet business needs.
- Apply developed test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on functional specifications and requirements.
- Track, report, and monitor defects and issues identified during testing. Work with the Manager Global Customs to prioritize and resolve them promptly.
- Share results with business users, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project results.
- Support training efforts, ensuring users understand the testing process and tools.
- Document project test results and create test reports for stakeholders, highlighting key issues, risks, and recommendations.
- Identify and report risks related to the project, ensuring critical business processes are thoroughly tested.
- Provide support during the post-production phase to address any project-related issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with global logistics and/or customs environments, ERP systems, and data management tools.
- Strong analytical skills to assess system functionality and identify gaps.
- Experience in participating in projects is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience in project management methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues, leading to effective solution.
- Knowledge of vendor collaboration platforms is preferred, with familiarity with tools such as Infor Nexus considered a strong advantage. This includes an understanding of commercial documentation (invoices, packing lists, shipping documents), supplier and purchase order collaboration, management of ASNs, invoice flow, and basic to intermediate sourcing and origin-related processes
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Educated to University level or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of working experience in supply chain management / customs business with understanding of process management / improvement.
- Fluency in English, Written and Spoken.
