We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer / Technical Lead. The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton with good home office allowance.Your Role: Create Software test strategies & test concepts, including test scripts in an interdisciplinary environment. Define basic quality objectives & derive basic test procedures from this. Create necessary test levels & their test organization for the product / sub-product. Define a specific test framework in coordination with a Product Owner & the Development Team. Analyze test objects & develop suggestions for improvements in test strategy, test concepts & all steps of test processes within projects. Act as a technical leader within the team.Your Skills: At least 5 years of professional experience in Software Testing including at least 3 years of experience & strong expertise in Test Strategy & Design. An in-depth knowledge of Testing with a focus on risk, test organization & test design. Extensive experience in Software Tests & Development of Embedded Devices with Microcontrollers. Skilled in the use of Tools for Test Automation (TPT, Cucumber, Lauterbach Tracer etc.). Ideally a knowledge of the standards in the Medical Device sector (IEC62304, GAMP). Preferably a good knowledge of the terminology of Testing from ISTQB or ISO. Any experience in Technically Leading within Testing Teams is considered advantageous.Your Profile: Completed University Degree in the fields of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar. A CAS in the area of Testing is beneficial. Open, communicative & a team-player. Precise & accurate.
