To reinforce the Swiss market marketing team at Swatch Headquarters in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, we are currently searching for a:

PR & SOCIAL MEDIA PROJECT LEADER 100%

To strengthen our marketing team in Switzerland, we are looking for a communicative, organizationally strong and creative personality as a PR & Social Media project leader who is passionate about bringing our brand and product message to Switzerland. You will be responsible for media, press and influencer relations as well as expanding our brand presence in the media and digital world by developing appropriate strategies and thought leadership on best practices and next generation digital trends.

Job description

Main responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the PR strategy for Switzerland, taking into account the global PR strategy
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with Swiss media (print, online, TV, radio)
• From PR send outs to press visits and events - informing the Swiss media landscape about the latest product launches in the most creative way
• Handle media requests and organize Interviews with Spokesperson at Swatch HQ
• Invite and accompany Swiss journalists during international PR events
• Steer the content strategy, planning and execution of the Social Media ecosystem. Driving brand awareness, engagement and conversions through effective social media and influencer marketing campaigns.
• Build, steer and execute the national Influencer strategy to increase brand awareness, commercial growth & brand equity.
• Creation of inspiring, brand-appropriate content using launches, events, activations and the daily momentum
• Securing our brand voice, tone, and visual representation across channels, ensuring content is cohesive and on-brand.
• Active collaboration with different departments within Swatch Switzerland and Swatch International to ensure consistency in communication and knowledge sharing.
• Monitoring performance results, analyzing data on a weekly & monthly base
• Manage budgets and report on business impact/ROI.

Profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in PR & communication - ideally in agencies or in the lifestyle/fashion/retail environment
• Sound understanding of the Swiss media and influencer landscape with an established network
• Experience in influencer marketing and a feel for social media trends and community management

Professional requirements

• By using corresponding tools you have the ability to collect, analyse and use data to inform decision-maker
• Thanks to your strong social skills, dealing with journalists and influencers on a daily basis is not only easy, but highlight for you
• In addition to your fun, positive and over creative personality, you can demonstrate excellent editorial (text, storytelling, content) and communication skills and a developed team player mind set.

The successful candidate will have a high attention to details, excellent organisation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities keeping to tight deadlines and coordinate with various business partners both internally and externally.

Languages

In addition, you possess excellent communications skills and are fluent in English, German and French.
