Your function
Our client is looking for a structured and accurate GL Accountant to join their international finance team. You will contribute to the integrity of the financial reporting and ensure compliance with VAT and accounting regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly and yearly closings
- Monitor VAT compliance and prepare VAT filings
- Support monthly closing processes and ensure timely reporting
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements in the GL and VAT domain
- Assist in internal and external audits
Your profile
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 35 years of experience in a GL or VAT-focused accounting role
- Proficient in Excel and accounting tools; experience with Oracle JDE is a plus
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently and manage priorities within deadlines
- Fluency in Dutch or English
