Overview

We are looking for a Functional Coordinator for the Mechanical Assembly Team to support the Head of Assembly in administrative and operational matters, manage day-to-day business and further develop the assembly processes.
In this role, you will work closely with the Assembly Leaders and the second Functional Coordinator to ensure efficient and smooth assembly.

Responsibilities

  1. Technical management of an assembly team (8-12 employees) and technical deputy to the Head Assembly
  2. Actively supporting employees in the further development and resolution of technical challenges
  3. Conducting employee appraisals and dialogs
  4. Relieving the Head Assembly of administrative and operational tasks (e.g. time recording, vacation approval and disciplinary issues after consultation)
  5. Support in the recruitment process
  6. Planning and coordination of work steps in the team and monitoring compliance with time and quality specifications
  7. Coordination of planning and control of project hours; initiation of measures in the event of deviations and active reporting to superiors if bottlenecks become apparent
  8. Coordination of all assembly processes
  9. Checking compliance with ASI regulations in the assigned assembly team
  10. Responsibility for the continuous training of employees through targeted training measures and on-the-job coaching
  11. Implementation of lean and improvement projects as well as continuous improvement of assembly processes and quality guidelines
  12. Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 20-40%)
  13. Completed basic technical training with further training as an industrial foreman or technician / HF
  14. Resilient, goal-oriented personality with good organizational skills
  15. Initial management experience is an advantage
  16. Entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
  17. Sound knowledge of time recording systems, resource management and team leadership
  18. Good communication skills and a confident manner in leading teams
  19. Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  20. Good knowledge of German and English
  21. Sound knowledge of lean methods and process optimization
