We''re lookingfor an experienced Estimator/Cost Engineer to assist out clientwith the acquiring of key contracts in the Defense sector. Thislong-term position comes with a full range of benefits, and offersthe chance to work with one of the leading global players in boththe Defense and Hydrogen sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Analysisof tenders and documentation: Study in detail the specificationsand interact with the various stakeholders. - Costing andEstimating: Determine equipment, labor, and production costs basedon internal references and supplier documents. - Cost optimization:Identify areas for improvement to optimize prices whileguaranteeing the quality and profitability of projects. - Creationand updating of a reference database: Define price standards andconstitute a reliable reference (raw materials, equipment,production times, etc.). - Collaboration with internal teams: Workclosely with the Proposals Engineer, purchasing teams, sales andcustomer support to ensure consistency and competitiveness ofoffers. - Be on-site 5 Days per week Background: - Education:Graduate of a technical higher education (minimum BAC+3). -Experience: Minimum 3 years in one or more of the following fields:- Industrial Experience - Production or industrial designtechniques - Costing and costing - Experience in procurement is anasset - Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and goodknowledge of English (written and oral) is essential - Personalqualities: Organized, rigorous, methodical and with a stronganalytical mind If this position looks interesting, please reply tothis email with your availability this week, it would be great tosetup an introductory call so I can discuss the position with you -joe.brazier@g2recruitment.com Kind regards, Joe
