With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be the contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Agro team.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing and rating guidelinesSteer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Agro to drive the achievement of financial targetsProactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycleWork closely with sales departments, claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross-sellingEnsure underwriting consistency and discipline, adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including rules, principles, and local regulatory frameworkSupport the development and implementation of new and/or modified productsAssist in the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business, including negotiations with agents and brokersCommunicate local business strategy externallyKey Requirements/Skills/ExperienceMaster''s degree in Economics or AgronomyAt least 5 years'' proven experience in underwriting profitable Property business, including SMEPreference if also experienced in Hail and/or General Third-Party LiabilityProven leadership skillsExpertise in risk assessment and understanding of policy administration lifecycleKnowledge of pricing and market analysis skillsExperience in designing and implementing robust policy wordings is desirableExperience in underwriting projects is a plusEntrepreneurial mindsetStrong communication skillsAbility to work in an international organizationFluent in English (written and spoken)Basic knowledge of data reportingProficiency in Office 365 and collaborative toolsAdditional details about employment type, industry, and company culture are included in the original description.
