We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Senior Software Engineer in Load & Performance Testing. The role is permanent position based in Zrich Canton.Your role: Plan, design, implement & maintain non-functional tests. Develop & maintain performance testing infrastructure & tools from scratch. Design, implement & maintain performance, load & reliability tests in a containerized environment. Review & analyze product & system specifications & provide technical recommendations. Assist in test automation with appropriate infrastructure solutions. Contribute to the development of cross infrastructure container orchestration. Guide & train teams on best practices regarding container design, deployment & management. Provide operations support to team members.Your Skills & Profile: Several years of professional experience in Software Engineering. Experienced in the areas of Performance, Load & Reliability Testing. Skilled & experienced in deploying & securing container-based systems such as Docker & Kubernetes on private & public clouds Experienced in programming languages such as C#/.NET or Java. Familiar in the areas of DevOps & Infrastructure as Code (preferably including in Azure DevOps). A good understanding of large-scale distributed systems. Familiar with advanced concepts of computer architecture, microservices (load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, networking), data structures & standard programming practices. Accustomed to phase models & agile methods. Any experience in automated configuration management & provisioning frameworks is considered a plus.Your Profile: Completed University Degree in Computer Science or similar. Open, communicative & a team-player.
