As a Software Engineer at Basalte, youll help develop and improve applications across platforms like Linux, Windows and macOS. From testing new releases to supporting the team with technical insights, youll play a key role in shaping our high-end smart home solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Help develop applications across various platforms such as Linux, Windows, and macOS.
- Contribute ideas to improve existing applications and products.
- Support the helpdesk team by analyzing and resolving reported issues.
- Rigorously test new releases before implementation.
- Provide advice on technological choices regarding software, tools, and methodologies.
- Keep a close eye on trends in home automation and related fields like audio and video.
Were a perfect match if you...
- Have at least a first experience as a Software Engineer, ideally with embedded systems (C/C++).
- Have knowledge of audio and/or video frameworks.
- Are experienced with multiple operating systems.
- Work well in a team and can manage deadlines.
- Speak fluent Dutch or English.
- Hold a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a Masters in Computer Engineering.
