In your role as a Principal Engineer IC Design Architect, you will develop circuit concepts for Industrial and Automotive applications based on system and customer requirements. Join our team in Pavia, where a culture that promotes commitment, trust, and innovation awaits you.Your responsibilities include:Develop "right-fit" circuit concepts for Industrial and Automotive applications, focusing on time to market.Validate concepts through behavioral modeling for comprehensive use-case analysis and product verification.Design analog/mixed signal circuit IP according to hardware requirements, ensuring design for test and manufacturing.Collaborate with Layout Experts, Verification Engineers, and Test Development teams to prepare designs for mass production.Debug circuit IP in the laboratory, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.Build relationships with Technical Marketing and Application Engineering to ensure support and engagement.Drive innovation by generating groundbreaking circuit ideas and participating in innovation projects.Conduct feasibility studies for new IPs to stay ahead of the competition.Promote continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration.Share expertise within the Infineon network, mentoring colleagues and students.The ideal candidate:Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.Has at least 5+ years of relevant experience, especially in analog and mixed signal chip design.Proficient in design and behavioral modeling tools like Spectre, Avenue, or SystemC.Has a background in Automotive and Functional Safety (plus).Possesses excellent problem-solving skills and can work independently.Strong in English; Italian skills or willingness to learn are a plus.Please send your CV in English.Benefits include coaching, mentoring, training, international assignments, various career paths, flexible working hours, part-time options, medical coverage, on-site canteen, sick leave wage payment, pension options, performance bonus, accessibility features, and the possibility to work remotely within the EU.#J-18808-Ljbffr
