MRI Physicist Location: Paris, France | Type: Full-Time | Field: Medical Imaging & MRI Physics We are seeking a passionate and driven MRI Physicist to join a growing R&D team working on cutting-edge medical imaging technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of next-generation MRI systems, with a particular focus on ultra-low-field environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct experimental tests with phantoms and simulations to assess sequence performance, reproducibility, and stability, with an emphasis on ultra-low-field applications. Design, develop, and optimise MRI pulse sequences, including real-time parameter adjustments during experiments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve data acquisition methods, streamline processing workflows, and validate quantitative imaging techniques. Participate in hands-on MRI hardware testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of protocols and experimental outcomes. Contribute to research project planning, data analysis, and occasionally assist in the preparation of scientific publications and patents. Qualifications PhD in medical physics (MRI focus) or MSc with a minimum of 2 years experience in MRI. Strong understanding of MRI physics and pulse sequence principles. Practical experience operating MRI systems and acquiring data. Familiarity with data analysis techniques and interpretation of quantitative MRI results. Interest or foundational experience in ultra-low-field MRI, especially in deriving relaxation times, diffusion coefficients, or susceptibility metrics.
