The EOSC Association (eosc.eu) was established in July2020 as a not-for-profit international Association (AISBL) inBelgium. With already 250 member and observer organisations fromacross Europe, the Association represents a single voice for theadvocacy and representation for the broader EOSC Stakeholdercommunity in Europe, promoting alignment of EU research policy andpriorities. The EOSC Association AISBL is currently seeking astudent to provide administrative support as a parttime jobthroughout the year (2 days a week). As an integral part of theSecretariat team, you will work closely with the Secretary Generaland collaborate with other team members to ensure the smoothexecution of administrative tasks and support the overalloperations of the Association. This is an excellent opportunity togain practical experience in an administrative role and contributeto the success of the organisation. Your responsibilities:Providing assistance to support the Secretary General and otherstaff members: - Assisting the Secretary General and other staffmembers in their day-to-day activities. - Collaborating with theteam to ensure smooth coordination and efficient workflow. -Assisting with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, andcoordinating meetings. - Handling correspondence, including emails,letters, and phone calls. - Assisting in the preparation ofdocuments, presentations, and reports. - Conducting desk researchand gathering information as needed. - Maintaining and updatingrecords and databases. - Supporting the organization of events,including logistics and coordination. - Assisting with travelarrangements and expense management. - Providing generaladministrative support, such as filing, copying, and data entry. -Collaborating with other team members to optimize administrativeprocesses and procedures. Your skills set and expertise: - Previousexperience in a similar job. - Good knowledge of MS officesoftware, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Quick learnerwith the ability to adapt to new systems and procedures. - Firstexperience in record-keeping and data management. Mandatoryrequirements - Registered as a student in Belgium with a the legalentitlement to work as a student in Belgium - Oral and writtencommand of English and French is a prerequisite.
